Artisanal. Distinctive. Terroir-driven. Driven by curiosity and creativity, Cuong Pham moved from Apple engineering to Red Boat Fish Sauce, then in 2024 launched Đồi Đá — pronounced Doy DAH, Vietnamese for Rocky Hill — with his family on a Napa hillside.
Nova Cadamatre MW makes the wines. She is the first American female winemaker to earn the Master of Wine. The house is producing Cabernet Sauvignon rooted in volcanic soils, plus a small High Fidelity Carneros Sauvignon Blanc, all made to be fresh, elegant, and terroir-driven.

Đồi Đá means Rocky Hill, pronounced Doy DAH. Cuong and Ann acquired the nine-acre Soda Canyon hillside in 2021. The 2023 Cabernet is Oakville fruit from Nemerever, made by Nova Cadamatre MW, while the estate vineyard comes online. Family story: doidawine.com/story.
