Steve
and Cameron Reynolds
Steve Reynolds sold a dental practice in Stockton in 1994. In 1995 he and Suzie bought a rundown chicken farm just south of Stags Leap — boarded-up house, a few goats, 14.5 acres in the shadow of Atlas Peak. The estate vineyard was planted in 1995. He opened a Napa dental chair to pay for it, and in 1998 sold that practice too. Cameron was born that year. They went all in on the wine thing.
The estate sits at 3266 Silverado Trail, just south of Stags Leap, with cool breezes from San Pablo Bay. Nine of the 14.5 acres are Cabernet — clones 337, 4, and Weimar. They drop close to half the fruit. Steve and Cameron make the wines together.
Cameron graduated Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 2020 with Wine and Viticulture and came home as national sales. Mustard still blooms on the property — and on the Reserve label, a real pressed flower, not a sticker. 3 case winery mix and match applies across Reynolds Family Winery only.

Annapurna sits where the Yountville Cross Road meets the Silverado Trail. Stags Leap is a valley within a valley: palisades on the east, rolling hills on the west, marine air at night. The vines are 25+ years old.
98/2 Cabernet/Merlot, 22 months 100% new French oak, 55% barrel ferment, all hand punched down, 400 cases. 14.6% alcohol.
Black cherry, cassis, crushed blackberry, dark cocoa, espresso, violet, warm cedar, graphite, sage. Palate of black plum, cassis liqueur, bittersweet chocolate, cracked pepper, toasted vanilla. Fine, velvety tannins.
